Pure Essential Oil Frankincense
Woody and earthy aroma. Its sedative and comforting fragrance are believed to help strengthen and invigorate the respiratory system.
Frankincense essential oil is extracted from the dried and distilled resin of the Frankincense tree, which is native to specific regions of Africa and the Middle East. The name origin comes from the French term “franc encens,” which translates to “high-quality incense." Pregnant women and individuals with bleeding disorders are cautioned on the usage of Frankincense because it is an emmenagogue that has blood-thinning effects, which may increase their risk of irregular bleeding.
Properties attributed to Frankincense plant essence:
- helps to boost the immune system
- helps to reduce the appearance of scars
- helps to relieve stress and anxiety
- anti-aging properties
- antiseptic properties (slows down the growth of microorganisms)
